Many B2Bs have a smaller marketing team that does a great job with campaigns and all the day-to-daly marketing. But it's challenging for smaller teams to have the time or resources for the strategic planning that brings exponential growth. Look to an expert for a fresh perspective and a plan to grow your business.
Think of a marketing plan like the root system of a thriving plant — you can't see it, but everything that grows above ground depends on it. Without a strategic plan, even great ideas wither. A strategic plan outlines how your business will connect with new leads, deepen client relationships, launch new services successfully, and even get found by AI-powered search. Sound like a lot? I've spent 20+ years planning (and planting) strategic foundations for growth. It's taught me how to make the process easier.
Here's how we'll create your plan:
We will spend 2 hours discussing your business: goals, recent marketing initiatives, sales process, customer challenges, competition and what makes you different. I'll look at your website and social media analytics, marketing materials and website for a comprehensive understanding of your business, industry and customer insights.
Next, we'll meet to set annual (and beyond) goals, discuss what that looks like now, quarterly, etc. We'll also talk about opportunities for quick wins and strategy ideas.
Then, I'll create a custom blueprint with your specific marketing tactics, AEO / SEO-driven content ideas, email ideas and other tactics that fit your unique business.
Receive your plan which is a one-page document with your goals, strategies, tactics by quarter, and KPIS. This keeps everyone aligned and enables the team to run marketing campaigns. You'll also receive a detailed strategic plan that includes all the research, ideas, strategies, campaigns, timing and tactics. Your Action Plan is just that— you're easy to follow blueprint.
Once you ant team review your Marketing Plan in more detail, it's often helpful to have a follow-up meeting to answer questions and determine next steps. I also like to provide additional insights about what's working now with specific tactics like email, LinkedIn Ads or AI resources. Now you have everything you need for marketing that brings results.

Without a plan, marketing is random and reactive. B2Bs end up doing a little of this and that, then hope for the best. That's a waste of time and money. Instead, invest a little time to create a plan. It helps everyone follow the vision and stay on track with the right marketing tactics to grow the business. Look to your marketing plan for laser focus on what to do and when. The benefits of planning make the effort worthwhile. Or, as the saying goes... failing to plan is planning to fail.
